I now bring together years of experience, multiple modalities and a broad and holistic view of the human body. I look at everything from external stressors, held trauma within the body, nutrition, hydration, breath and am very big on helping you understand how your body is moving, what that might mean to you and how we are able to teach and integrate movement concepts into everyday life so you can not only live pain free but reach your full and best self.

In 2019 I also launched my own luxury cycling tour company, Eudaimonia Tasmanian Cycling Tours, a showcase of everything that is Tasmanian, from our scenery, to our food and our unique accommodation services. Everything I bring into life and my business, comes from the broad and holistic view I take from the human body. I now also run Cygnet Cycling Festival and have recently taken over The Spirit of Tasmania Cycling Tour. If I’m not working with the human body or riding my bike, then I can probably be found around at least one dog!

Sofia Tsamassiros

Personal trainer and holistic movement coach specialising in injury and pain management. Based in Cygnet Tasmania.

My interest in the human body and movement began at the age of 12. I was lucky enough to be guided through the importance and variety of functional movement to help manage and prevent injury while I was playing elite level football (soccer) through my teenage years.

I then continued on to become a personal trainer (cert III and IV in fitness) in 2014, and studied and wrote a book about Anatomy Trains (and myofascial meridians) and its implementation through movement while at school. While working as a personal trainer from the age of 18, I began studying medicine at university for a number of years. However after dealing with years of panic attacks, depression and anxiety, I finally gave up study to take a step back and heal myself.

I attended a BeActivated course in 2018 and from that moment in my life, have not had a panic attack. This is when I consider myself to truly take on personal trainer and movement specialist as a career.
